- Sportman's Team Challenge
The Sportsman's Team Challenge (STC) is a shooting competition held annually at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas. Competitors participate in 6 different events. The STC is unique among shooting sports in that the competition is based on team, not individual, results and the events test the shooter's ability with a wide variety of firearms and courses of fire. The events include 3 shotgun events, 2 rimfire rifle events, and one pistol event.
In 2008, 78 teams participated and over $25,000 in prize money was awarded. The Sportsman’s Team Challenge Association organizes the event, and there are a number of regional events around the country leading up to the national competition. [http://www.sportsmansteamchallenge.com/]
