Glen McCoy is a
television script writer with many credits, including "Angels", "Emmerdale", "EastEnders " and other soap operas. He also had a spell with the London Ambulance Service and became one of the early batch of paramedics. It was during this time that he wrote "Ambulance!" published by David & Charles.One of his earliest commissioned scripts was the story "
Timelash " for "Doctor Who ", screened in 1985. He subsequently novelised the story forTarget Books . In 2006, he returned to Doctor Who, when he contributed a story to "", published byBig Finish Productions .Other business books include: Jobs in the Ambulance Service and Hospitals (Kogan Page), Getting Out of Debt (Management Books), Extraordinary Customer Care (Management Books).
Glen McCoy has used his creativity in the world of business consulting more recently working for companies that are commissioned to create new initiatives in training, coaching and people development. Their customer brands include Vodafone, More Than, Landrover, Mars, and Digicel - the biggest mobile phone company across the Caribbean.
Currently he's working on coming back to television but not to soaps, something completely original.
