- Ninjanet
-
Ninjanet was a term for the (now defunct) practice of tossing a floppy disk, using as much precision as possible, from one computer user to another, in order to exchange data. The disk was often thrown in the style of a Shuriken, thereby allowing the disk to travel a relatively quick, straight path. While technically wireless, the Ninjanet was notoriously unreliable as all clients are rarely trained ninjas.
