Botteghe Oscure

Botteghe Oscure

"Botteghe Oscure" was a literary journal, published and edited in Rome by Marguerite Caetani (Princess di Bassino) from 1948 until 1960.

It was named after Botteghe Oscure Street, where the editorial office was located. With poetry and prose in three languages (Italian, French and English), the review was published twice a year. It was distributed in the United States through Farrar, Straus & Young and the Gotham Book Mart.
