Angelique Monet

Angelique Monet, former Ms. Black SC USA, is the world's only black actress/ventriloquist. She has been featured in an Off-Broadway production entitled "Multiple Me", in theatre row in New York City. Her children's television show, "Gracie and Angel", aired on Dove Communications. She also had a syndicated show entitled "NYConnection" in which she interviewed entertainment pioneers such as Public Enemy, Dougie Fresh, Curtis Blow, DJ Red Alert, Ludacris, Raekwon, Charles Stone III, Tyson Beckford, Sheik Louch, Damon Dash, Wayne Wonder and Baby Cham. She also is a supporting actress in York Entertainment's "East New York", starring Remy Ma and Killah Priest.

Her first directorial debut went to Cannes Film Festival SFC in 2005. Her last work was a feature film entitled "Deceptive", in which she produced and starred. Now Monet's latest work is "The Angelique Monet Show", a bi-monthly magazine show featuring celebrity interviews. Monet is a mixture of African-American, Latin, Native American, and Irish.

This November Angelique introduces the first black film festival in the Hamptons entitled Hamptons Black International Film Festival (HBIFF), scheduled in Sag Harbor, New York.
