*James Cosmo as George Bergeron: A man whose intelligence is way above normal, and therefore is forced to wear a handicap radio in his ear which sends out a sharp noise every twenty seconds or so to prevent George from taking unfair advantage of his brain. He is the father of Harrison.
*Julie Hagerty as Hazel Bergeron: A woman with perfectly average intelligence, meaning she cannot think of anything except in short bursts. She is married to George Bergeron and is the mother of Harrison.
*Armie Hammer as Harrison Bergeron: The protagonist of the film, in Vonnegut's story he is 14 years old, a genius and a fantastic athlete. It is unknown what his age will be portrayed as in the movie, however he will retain both his mental and physical prowess. In a world where the exceptional are handicapped, Harrison has received both the heaviest physical handicaps and the most distracting mental handicaps of any citizen.Production
