ACTS Nederland BV is an open access freight operator in the
Netherlands , commonly known just as ACTS.ACTS was set up in 1999 and operates services fromKijfhoek toAmsterdam Westhaven,Onnen andLeeuwarden . The services begin/finish atMaasvlakte in the RotterdamEuropoort before heading to Kijfhoek. When the company started they purchased 5NS Class 1200 's, 3Czech Railways shunters and 5 exSNCB Class 62 's which were renumbered Class 6700.They now also operate:
Veendam orGroningen toBremen viaLeer , as well as freight services around's-Hertogenbosch (also known as Den Bosch).The Livery worn is Dark Blue/Purple with a thick Yellow band, However some operated in Vos Logistics livery of Black with an orange stripe.
The 1200's normally run with a Class 6700 on freight trips.
The fleet was in 1999:
*Class 1200 1251 (Formerly NS 1215), 1252 (Formerly NS 1225) , 1253 (Formerly NS 1218), 1254 (Formerly NS 1214)and 1255 (Formerly NS 1221).*Class 6000 6001 (Spare), 6002, 6003.
*Class 6700 6701 (Formerly SNCB/NMBS 6321), 6702 (Formerly SNCB/NMBS 6325), 6703 (Formerly SNCB/NMBS 6391), 6704 (Formerly SNCB/NMBS 6392) and 6705 (Formerly SNCB/NMBS 6393).Since then 3 ex
British Rail Class 58 's were aquired. However these bowed out of service in July 2008.These were 5811 (ex 58039), 5812 (ex 58044) and 5814 (58038), which carried Vos Logistics livery.

Class 66 Diesel locomotives have been used.Vossloh G1206 diesel locomotives are also used by ACTSThey are numbered 7101 to 7107 and are called Class 7100. These can frequently be seen on services from Rotterdam into Germany viaArnhem andEmmerich .ACTS are known for supporting the
Betuwe Route , which is a freight route from Kijfhoek toZevenaar a town near Arnhem where it joins onto the line into Germany, meaning freight trains do not crowd the passenger lines. Many of the loco's have 'I Love Betuwe Route' stickers.Gallery
