Bob Cowsill

Bob Cowsill

Robert "Bob" Cowsill (born August 26, 1949 in Newport, Rhode Island) is an American musician and member of the musical group The Cowsills. He is the third of the seven Cowsill children and is fraternal twins with Richard, the only Cowsill child who was not a part of the group during its 1960s incarnations. Richard is older by 19 minutes.

The Cowsills began when Bob and Bill performed together. Shortly after, younger brothers Barry and John joined the group and thus the original Cowsills quartet was formed. Bob remained with the group until it split in the early 1970s. He then began working in the medical industry. He helped develop and trains hospital emergency departments how to use EDTS (Emergency Department Information Tracking System), a system to manage hospital bills and emergency room accountancy.

He rejoined his siblings Susan, Paul and John in 1990 to again tour and record as The Cowsills. He still performs with Susan and Paul as The Cowsills as well as on his own at local clubs and small venus in California.
