Greenleap Strategic Institute

Greenleap Strategic Institute [http://www.green-innovations.asn.au/] , or GSI, is a non-profit sustainability think-tank dedicated to driving urgent action to resolve the sustainability emergency.

The Institute, based in Melbourne, Australia, was founded by Philip Sutton in 2005 in response to the rapidly growing awareness of the seriousness of the climate change issue.

The Greenleap Strategic Institute is an operating arm of Green Innovations and was named after the email list called Greenleap [http://www.green-innovations.asn.au/greenleap.htm] has been operated by Green Innovations since 1997.

The most significant project of the Institute so far has been its involvement in co-authoring the book Climate Code Red.
