"Boombastic" is the second single released by Shaggy from his album "Boombastic".

It spending a week at number one on the U.S. R&B chart, and a similar stint atop the UK Singles Chart. It also reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100.

A remix featuring Sting features a sample of Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On." The latter is featured on some versions of the album as a bonus track.

The single was released in the UK under 12" and CD single formats.

The song was featured in Levi's ad.
