Western Australia .It grows to between 0.5 and 1.8 metres high and has linear to elliptic leaves with recurved margins that are 40 to 120 mm long and 2 to 10 mm in width. Red flowers are produced between June and November in its native range. These are followed by ovoid fruits that are 15mm long.
Taxonomy
The species was first formally described by botanist
G.J. Keighery in "Nuytsia" in 1990. It has also been known as "G. brachystylis" 'Whicher Range form' and "G. brachystylis" 'taller form'.References
