Gni (trigraph)

Gni is a trigraph used in French to write the sound IPA|/ɲ/ in a few words such as "châtaignier" IPA|/ʃɑtɛɲe/.

It is used also in Portuguese. For instance, in "magnitude", that is read "mahg-nee-too-dee".
