2006 F1CS Bahrain Grand Prix

The 2006 F1CS Bahrain Grand Prix was the inaugural event of the F1CS F1 World Championship and the 1st race of the 2006 F1CS F1 Season. It was held on the 29th October 2006 at the Sakhir International Circuit, Bahrain.

Qualifying

The first ever F1CS qualifying session saw Renault and Ferrari share the front row with their drivers David Gonzalez and Jaime Roig respectively. Only 12 cars entered this first race out of the maximum 20. So David Gonzalez became the first F1CS polesitter by a huge margin of over a second.
