Nihongo|"S.S. Astro"|教艦ASTRO|Kyokan ASTRO lit. Warship Astro is a Japanese 4-koma manga by Negi Banno about the lives of teachers within a school on which they teach. The "Astro" in the title is actually an acronym abbreviating "Asahio Sogo Teacher's ROom". The manga is serialized in the seinen manga magazine "Manga Time Kirara Carat", published by Houbunsha, and one tankōbon has been released so far. Yen Press has licensed this series for release in English.

Plot and Setting

Set in present time. The story focuses on the exploits of first time teachers Maki Izumi and Nagumo Yuko as they begin their teaching jobs at the school they used to attend (Asahio Shogo).It also focuses on Arai Setsuna, the school's nurse, and Kaname Karasuma, a veteran teacher.
