Snoqualmie National Forest was established in Washington on July 1, 1908 from a portion of Washington National Forest with 961,120 acres. On October 13, 1933 part of Rainier National Forest was added. In 1974 Snoqualmie was administratively combined with Mount Baker National Forest to make Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
