Woochi

Woochi an online encyclopedia related to wine.

Functionality includes: a full-text search engine (similar to Google, but for wine only), a winefinder, wine shop locator, wine event calendar, a graphical browser to navigate the hierarchy of wine regions worldwide, and a wine web directory (similar to Open Directory Project, but for wine only).

Woochi uses the ISWN (International Standard Wine Number) global reference database of wine producers and wines.
Open Source forums allows wine lovers to add text notes, images, and links. Structured wine tasting notes and ratings from different sources, for example through sites such as WARPA (see www.warpa.com). Wine producer and wine shops can update their company and product information through a module called ISWN Manager.
