The Float Your Fanny Down The Ganny is an 10km race held annually in April in Port Hope on the Ganaraska River that runs through the town. The race commemorates the 1980 flood of the town that caused considerable damage to the downtown area. Contestants can enter the race under three categories, canoes, kayaks and crazy crafts. The crazy craft being homemade crafts.
