EUTRAN is an wireless data extension of
GSM technology. It is the abbreviation for Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network, also referred to the3GPP work item on the Long Term Evolution (LTE). The Air-Interface Evolution will develop a framework for a high-data-rate, low-latency and packet-optimized OFDMA radio-access technology. Trials started in 2008, products are expected to be commercially available in 2009 and commercial deployments will begin in 2010.Skyworks Solutions has released a front-end module for EUTRAN.
