French Army General.Biography
Originally modest after high school, he was admitted to Saint-Cyr and leaving sub-lieutenant in 1924. Then when a distinguished military career which leads from Morocco to China.
Refusing the armistice, he plays in August 1940, an active role in rallying from Chad to France libre.
