Ákos Agárdy (born 22 December 1988 in Dunaújváros, Hungary) is a Hungarian ice hockey goaltender. He began to play hockey when he was six years old for a team called Dunaferr. He played two seasons, in the Hungarian Elite League (OB I. Bajnokság), in the IIHF Continental Cup and in the International Ice Hockey League, with the Dunaújváros AC Hockey Team. He has also played on three IIHF World U18 Championships, and on two IIHF World Junior Championship. When he was sixteen years old Pat Cortina called him up to play for the Hungary national ice hockey team. In 2006 he signed on with the Canadian junior hockey team called Collingwood Blues. In the 2006- 07 OPJHL season he was named MVP of the North Division. After two seasons Agardy left Collingwood, and signed with the Port Hope Predators.
