Hector Quintanilla

Hector Quintanilla

Lt Col Hector Quintanilla, USAF, was born in Mexico and immigrated to the US in 1929 as a young boy. He was the last chief officer of Project Blue Book, the UFO investigation project of the US Air Force. He headed the project from 1963 until its folding in 1969. He died in 1996 in San Antonio, Texas. Quintanilla left behind six children and several grand children.

Quintanilla's work with Project Blue Book has been harshly criticized by many. Yet few have cited Quintanilla's own words, which are now available at the National Institute of Discovery Science, who has published his manuscript [http://www.nidsci.org/pdf/quintanilla.pdf UFO’S: An Air Force Dilemma] .
