Daniel Salazar

Daniel Salazar (born March 12, 1985) is a midfielder for Academia Quintana F. C. He is a young football player from Bucaramanga, Colombia. He was born March 12, 1985. He emigrated to the United States with his family as a young man in the year 1998 and played Varsity Soccer for Brentwood High School in Long Island, NY.

After graduating from Brentwood High School, he continued his football career at Stony Brook University, playing for the Seawolves for four seasons. He helped the Seawolves achieved their Conference Title in the year 2005.

Although he played winger in college, he plays as a classic '10', in the style of Carlos Valderrama, where he feels more comfortable.

His brother Hermes is also a football player.
