Freeplay Replay

Freeplay Replay

Freeplay Replay was a unique Iowa Lottery game offered in the 1990s.

Games cost $1 each; players chose six numbers from 1 to 30. A winning ticket matched at least four numbers, or, as part of the game's theme, won a free ticket ("freeplay replay") if no numbers matched those drawn.

The game considered the number 15 "lucky", using it, or a multiple, several times in the parameters of the game. Matching four numbers won $15; five numbers won $150, and a perfect match won a "set" prize of $15,000 a year for 15 years; a cash option was available. Of course, the 30 numbers in the game also was a multiple of 15.
