Joe Rosen

Joe Rosen (b. December 25 1920) is an American comic book artist well known for his lettering. Over the course of his his career with Marvel Comics and DC Comics, Rosen lettered such titles as "Captain America", "Daredevil", "Spider-Man", "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero", "The Incredible Hulk", "The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones", and "X-Factor". He also lettered the DC/Marvel intercompany crossover book "Superman and Spider-Man".

Rosen started his lettering career at Harvey Comics, where he was known as speedy, professional, and a "quiet fellow." [Paul Maringelli interview (July 1, 2004), in Mark Arnold's "The Best of the Harveyville: Fun Times!" (Mark Arnold, 2006) ISBN 1847283683]
