Keith Finch (born February 21, 1954, London), is an English musician. Played in several punk bands before becoming the keyboard player for the UK band Crown of Thorns (1980-1986), cited as one of the forerunners of synth based techno dance music. The band was signed to IRS Records in UK and States, managed by
Miles Copeland .Finch is best known as a reggae producer JA13, working with many old legends from Jamaican music.
In 2001 together with
Rich Drury , he put together the critically acclaimed reggae album 'Heroes of Kingston' working along side many original artistes from the sixties. A live show was developed from the album."Best reggae show I've ever been to" -Ranking Miss P, The Guardian
JA13 went on to work with girl band 'FYA', selling 100,000 albums in Japan and top ten hits in England and across Europe. An album followed with legendary trombonist
Rico Rodriguez .In late summer 2007, Keith Finch and Lee Thompson (
Madness ) combined their love of ska and formedThe Dance Brigade . They were soon joined by formerThe Belle Stars singer, Jennie Bellestar.External Links
