Carles Juanmartí

Carles Juanmartí (born 20 December 1978) is a Spanish whitewater kayaker. He was born in La Seu d'Urgell a little village on the Catalan Pyrenees, and he has been living there all his life, training on Parc del Segre, the best canoeing course in Spain.

He competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney and in2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. In the Canoening at the 2000 summer Olympics - Men's slalom k-1 event he finished eighteen going out of the fifteen and final round. In the K-1 event he finished thirteenth in the qualification round, thus progressing to the semifinals. In the semifinals he finished eleventh , failing to reach the top ten and the final round.

At the moment his best result was six place in the world championships in K-1 slalom event, in 2007 in Foz do Iguassú (Brazil).
