Peter Kauzer

Peter Kauzer

Peter Kauzer (born 8 September 1983 in Trbovlje) is a Slovenian whitewater kayaker.

He competed in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. In the K-1 event he won the qualification round, thus progressing to the semifinals. In the semifinals he finished thirteenth, failing to reach the final round. He was given four penalty seconds; without them he would have won the semifinals as well.

He also finished eighth at the 2006 World Championships and fifth at the 2008 European Championships. In the K-1 team event he finished third at the 2005 World Championships, fifth in 2007 and fourth at the 2008 European Championships.

He lives in Hrastnik.
