Kristina Cook

Kristina Cook also known as Tina Cook (born August 31, 1970, Rustington), is a British three-day eventing rider. She is the daughter of the four times Champion Jockey, Josh Gifford. [http://www.olympics.org.uk/beijing2008/AthleteProfile.aspx?id=6805#]

With her horse Miner's Frolic she won bronze medals in both the individual and team eventing at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing [ [http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/olympics/equestrian/7556756.stm "Double bronze for debutant Cook"] , BBC, August 12, 2008] . Cook only made the Olympic Eventing team, after the withdrawals of granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II, Zara Phillips and Lucy Wiegersma.
