- Wosnesensky's Isopod
"Idotea wonsnesenskii", known as Wosnesensky's Isopod or simply "Rockweed Isopod", lives on seaweed on rocky shores along the
British Columbia andWashington coastlines. It can be as large as 3.5 cm long, is usually green, but its colour is adaptable to its environment. It can often be found hiding underRockweed ("Fucus gardnerii") in theintertidal zone . It is sometimes known as a "picklebug" owing to its resemblance to adill pickle .
