Japan esejazz fusion band that was formed in1976 . Its original lineup includedguitarist Masahiro Andoh ,bassist Mitsuru Sutoh ,saxophonist ,flutist andEWI playerTakeshi Itoh ,keyboardist Hirotaka Izumi , anddrummer Hiroyuki Noritake . They are known for songs such as "Truth," "Japanese Soul Brothers," "Takarajima," and "Omens of Love" among others. "Truth" later became the theme for Japan's Formula One racing events.History
The band was originally named "The Square," but changed its name to "T-Square" in
1988 when it had its first tour and album release in the United States. In1998 , the prodigal Masato Honda left the group to pursue his solo career.Takahiro Miyazaki would replace him on Saxophone/EWI duties until 2001, whenTakeshi Itoh would fill the role to the present day.Discography
