Breaksk8 is an all male crew of Professional Dancers on Rollerskates, established in 2001 and based out of Kokomo, Indiana.

Current_members = Shannon Anthony Jessy Nice Jordan McQuiston Diamond Walker Anthony Zane Tyson NealThe group was created by Shannon Anthony in 2001. All the members were friends growing up in the skating rinks. In 2002 they started traveling the country performing and teaching in rinks across the nation.
Early 2004 Breaksk8 was invited by the AND 1 Basketball team to perform Half-time for their game to take place in their hometown Kokomo, Indiana. That was Breaksk8's first half-time performance.
Word spread extremely fast in Central Indiana and Breaksk8 started perfrming at numerous High School Varsity Basketball Games in Central Indiana. Soon After Ball State University called and asked Breaksk8 to perform and Soon after that the Indiana Pacers called.
Breaksk8 became the Indiana Pace Skaters and performed at Numerous Home games for the Pacers the 2004 season. In 2005 Breaksk8 signed a contract to become the "Official Skate Team for the NBA" as they started to travel and perform for all 30 NBA Teams.
In 2005 Breaksk8 provided stunt skating for the Motion Picture "Roll Bounce" featuring Lil Bow Wow. Before the movie premiere Fox Searchlight Productions held the "Roll Bounce Skate Off" skate competition in 10 different cities throughout the United States. Over 100 skate teams started competing in the single elimination skate off. Breaksk8 started in Cleveland, Ohio and eliminated every crew in the Midwest and then went on to compete in Washington DC for th Semi Finals. Breaksk8 again eliminated several crews to make it to the finals Held in Chicago September 19th 2005.
Breaksk8 was joined by rival Crew "Jamskate" from Orlando, FL in Chicago to compete for the tile of Americas Best Skate Crew. Breaksk8 dominated the competition with a standing Ovation and went on to win the Roll Bounce Skate Off.
In November 2007 MTV called Breaksk8 wanting them to participate in a show called "World Moves" that MTV had Purchased from NBC and renamed it "Americas Best Dance Crew"
Breaksk8 Joined 11 other Crews at Sony Studios in Culver City, California on January 19th to compete for a shot at the tile of Americas Best Dance Crew.
During the Live Auditions Breaksk8 was eliminated by an all girl group named Femme 5 also from the Midwest. At the end of the Live Audiotions Breaksk8 and 3 other crews that were previously eliminated were given a chance to Battle it out for the 9th spot on the TV Show.
Breaksk8 was by far the favorite and continued to eliminate the other 3 crews.
Breaksk8 then contunied to dominate the TV show helping eliminate several crews week after week. Breaksk8's most amous dance routine was during week 5 "Michael Jackson Week" when the judges gave them a standing ovation and also said they were the most versitile group pn the show and they danced like superstarts and they represented Michael Jackson extremely well.
Breaksk8 was Eliminated during week 7 of the 9 week show by Kaba Modern who placed 3rd.
