"Beauty and the Beast" is the fourteenth episode of the live action television series "Faerie Tale Theatre". It is based on the story of the same name and stars Susan Sarandon as Beauty and Klaus Kinski as the Beast. Anjelica Houston plays one of Beauty's sisters. The episode is a remake of the 1946 French film La Belle et la Bête. It has the same scenario, same costumes and makeup design, and the same overall design.
