The Instituto Social Militar Dr. Damaso Centeno (ISMDDC) was created by Law No. 13,043, sanctioned the October 2 1947, based on the "Institute Incorporated Damaso Centeno", aimed specifically at education and assistance orphans without means of military and other military family members.

History

His administration went to the Society for the Protection of Military Orphans, under the supervision of the Ministry of War. In 1909, the "Orphan Asylum of Military" changed its name to "Military College of Orphans."
