Joseph Maria Koudelka

Joseph Maria Koudelka (December 8, 1852 - June 24, 1921) was the second Roman Catholic bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Superior, in Superior, Wisconsin. [http://www.catholicdos.org/index.php?cat=121312060687509]

Born in Bohemia, [http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/04055a.htm] [http://www.coabvm.org/history2.shtml] Koudelka was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood was November 29, 1875, for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, in Cleveland, Ohio. On November 29, 1907, Pope Pius X appointed him auxiliary bishop of the Cleveland Diocese and he was ordained a bishop on February 25, 1908. On June 24, 1911 Pope Pius X appointed him auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Milwaukee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
