- Kuda Bux (Band)
Kuda Bux are a five piece rock band from Wickford, Essex. The band takes their name from the old Indian Mystic "Kuda Bux".
The Beginning
Kuda Bux consists of:
Freddie Webber : Lead Guitar and Vocals
Harry Jenkins : Rhythm Guitar
Nick Harding : Keyboard, Rhythm Guitar and Vocals
Nic Stamford : Bass Guitar
Josh Smith : Drummer
The band was brought together by Freddie and Josh. They had recently split from their original band Karnige and were looking to form a new band. The first to join was Nic Stamford. Freddie came across him while eating lunch one day at school. He could hear someone playing some Red Hot Chili Pepper basslines in the nearby music room. He approached Nic and invited him to jam with Josh and himself one evening. That was when they asked him if he would like to join, and he did.
While jamming one day, Freddie said that he would be interested in getting a second guitarist to play rhythm. Nic came up with the idea of seeing if his longtime friend Harry Jenkins would be interested. So they invited him to come and jam, and they all knew what they had was right. Harry quickly joined and the band bonded very well, both musically and socially.
