Schwarz is the co-author of "Multimedia 2000", published in 1992 by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) where she was responsible for writing, researching and producing the "HOLLYWOOD USA" chapter that forecast the future of the entertainment economy. She is the co-author and co-editor of "Multimedia: Gateway to the Next Millennium", Harcourt Brace Publishing, 1993 still used in dozens of colleges and universities as a textbook or ancillary text resource. Schwarz wrote the section called "Hollywood USA".
Joyce is also the author of "CUTTING THE CORD: Tech TV's Consumer Guide to Going Wireless", 400 pages, Pearson Publishing, 2001
Under the name Joyce A. Schwarz she is the author of "Successful Recareering: When Just Another Job Is Not Enough", Career Press, 1992. She founded the Center for Successful Recareering in 1992 and it has been featured in THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, on National Public Radio and on PBS TV and NBC News. She is also the author of the audio book "How to Break Into the New Hollywood" produced by Hay House for Learning Annex, 1997
