RFA Scotol

RFA "Scotol". 1177 ton Tanker. Built 1916 at Tyne Iron Ship Building Company. 220 ft long, convert|34.5|ft|m|abbr=on wide, convert|16.5|ft|m|abbr=on draught. Capable of 11-12 knots. First used as a Port Oiler at Dover then to Portland until 1948 when it was sold to an unknown British company. Wrecked 1969 near the Lizard (Trevoise Head ???) on her way to the breakers.
