Diploma courses in this institute.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi(January 12, 1917 – February 5, 2008), founded and developed the Transcendental Meditation technique and related programs and initiatives, including schools and universities with campuses in India, the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and China.

In approximately 1939, Maharishi became a disciple of Swami Brahmananda Saraswati who, from 1941 to 1953, was the Shankaracharya (spiritual leader) of Jyotir Math, located in the Indian Himalayas. Maharishi credits the Shankaracharya (Guru Deva) with inspiring his teachings.

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's first global tour began in 1958, from which time his techniques for human development have been taught worldwide. He became known in the Western world in part due to interactions with The Beatles and other celebrities.

By 1990, Maharishi had begun to coordinate his global activities from his residence in Vlodrop, the Netherlands. On January 11, 2008, he announced his retirement from all administrative activities and went into Mauna (spiritual silence). He declared: "It has been my pleasure at the feet of Guru Dev, to take the light of Guru Dev and pass it on in my environment. Now today, I am closing my designed duty to Guru Dev. And I can only say, 'Live long the world in peace, happiness, prosperity, and freedom from suffering.'”

Mahrishi mahesh yogi vedic Vishwavidyalaya has been founded by his holiness maharishi mahesh yogi,whois chancellor.this is the only university in India university was established to impart complete education i.e.. Knowledge of ved and vedic literature.the university was established in November 1995 by an Act of madhya pradesh legislative assembly( vide act. no. 37 of September 95) duly published in extraordinary gazette of December 1995 and recognized by university grants commission(ugc),and having the membership of the association of Indian university(AIU).Located at the centre of India in the state of madhya pradesh the university has it head office at the brahmsthan(the centre of India,village-karoundi,tehsil-sihora near jabalpur). The jurisdiction of Maharishi mahesh Yogi vishwavididyalaya extends over the whole of Madhya pradesh. presently university has study centeres all over M.P.The main objective of the university is to propagate the knowledge of vedic education which is complete education and knowledge and covers all the theories of modern science. university offers various courses in jyotish.,sthapatya ved, gandharva ved,Management and computer science.The graduate Courses offered under Maharishi Prabandhan Vidhan such as Bachlor of Business administration (B.B.A.)and Bachelor of Computer Application(B.C.A.)are duly reconized by directorate of technical Education,Government of Madhya pradesh.These courses are run by department of Management studies. These Professional courses have been devloped by board of studies consisting of proffesor from leading management and computer institutions. With a view to cater to the demands of industry due to fast Changing need, students are trained in the latest devlopment in the field of Computer & management.
