J N Jayashree

J. N. Jayashree is a whistle blower from India, an ordinary housewife who exposed the rampant corruption in Karnataka state and created a wiki to protect her husband M. N. Vijayakumar, a bureaucrat from the state, who has been exposing and opposing corrupt government officers taking bribes, kickbacks and garden-variety pilferage [cite web|url=http://www.nytimes.com/2007/07/05/technology/05whistle.html|title=In India, Protecting a Whistle-Blower|accessdate=2008-08-08] . The wiki was created to generate awareness since Jayshree didn't want her husband to end up like Shanmughan Manjunath or Satyendra Dubey who were found murdered after exposing corruption in a public sector company and government department [cite web|url=http://www.guardianweekly.co.uk/?page=editorial&id=479&catID=1|title=Fighting corruption in India|accessdate=2008-08-08] .
