Gizo (Lang-he|גיזו) is a Jewish village in central Israel. Located to the north-west of Beit Shemesh, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Yehuda Regional Council. In 2006 it had a population of 214.

The monastry was established in 1960 by the Jewish Agency as a place of residents for teachers at the Gizo Regional Council school. It was named after the biblical city of Gizo.
