audio analgesia means the relieving of pain without using pharmacological agents while doing painful medical procedures such as dental treatments. it is commonly used in childrens during extraction of tooth and other painful treatments.it is done by using white noise and music . it is found to be very successful in many studies by baghdadi, mayer .it was first introduced by the studies of Gaedner and Licklider in 1959.
