"Uberella vitrea" is a species of marine gastropod mollusc in the family Naticidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to New Zealand, found around the South and Stewart Islands, the Chatham Islands and the New Zealand Sub-Antarctic Islands.

Habitat

This species is found from low tide to depths of about 170 m.

Description

The shell is small, globose, with a low rounded spire, very solid, smooth and polished, under a thin yellowish-buff periostracum.

Height is up to 8 mm, and width up to 7 mm.
