Overview
"Taken Out" was a studio-based show that involves a single man who is introduced to thirty women which were revealed to him in the "Taken Out" arena. The women learnt information about the eligible bachelor and then decided whether or not they saw him as being a potential love interest. The process began with the introduction of a video by the eligible bachelor. The women then judged and turned their lights off or on depending on their decision. Next, a video by the bachelor's friend, family member or ex partner was shown. The women then decided again. Finally, it was the bachelor's turn to make a decision. He had to turn off the lights of the remaining women until there was only three left, but only if four or more women were left in the game at this stage. He then asked two questions of the women and at the end, deciding who he wanted to go on a date with. The bachelor could also decide not to go out on a date with the last woman remaining. This process was reversed throughout the series in which a single woman was introduced to thirty men. Every night, a video of the previous partnering's date was shown.
