Kevin Bond (musician)

Kevin Bond is a metal/punk guitarist. He made his name most famous with Superjoint Ritual, a band featuring members of Down and Pantera (Jimmy Bower - drums) and Pantera (Philip Anselmo - Vocals ). The band played a style of hardcore infused with punk and metal, which utilized distorted guitar riffs in C# Tuning. Kevin Bond has a signature Jackson RR Jackson with a thru neck, Pentagram inlays, one Tony Iommi Hot Rail pickup and a fine tune bridge.

Bond is easily distinguishable by his low flying V / Custom guitar, beard and long dreadlocks + Heavily tattooed arms, complete with hand tattoos, including one hand being tattooed with a similar design to the cover of the first Superjoint Ritual album.

Bond was also in Assjack along with Hank Williams III and Christ Inversion with Anselmo. Hank Williams III also appeared in Superjoint Ritual as the touring bass player, and appeared on their second album A Lethal Dose of American Hatred. Most music was written by Bond and Anselmo, who became great friends. Unfortunately , SJR split in 2005.

Currently, Bond plays in Atlanta with Red River Revival along with ex-members of Artimus Pyledriver and Moses Jones.
