"Larochea miranda" is an extremely minute species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Velutinidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to northern New Zealand.

Habitat

This species is found at depths of about 20 m.

Description

The thin white shell is extremely minute. There are about three whorls. The post-nuclear sculpture is of closely spaced weak axial folds, crossed by numerous fine spiral threads.

The shell height is up to 0.5 mm, and width is up to 1.1 mm.
