WDNR, known as 89.5 Widener University, is a college radio station which broadcasts in the Philadelphia area via a transmitter that covers a 10-mile radius around Chester, PAfact|date=June 2008. WDNR can also be listened to on the internet via an online stream. The station broadcasts local football games, and plays a wide variety of music. WDNR currently is runned by General Manager Kristofer Gill and his executive staff. In 2008, marks the stations 40th Anniversary. WDNR continues to be an important component of Widener University.
