Zarakes (Greek: Ζάρακες) is a village in Dysties municipality, Euboea, Greece, population 936 as of the last censuswhen.

The municipal department of Zarakon (Greek: Ζαράκων) comprises Zarakes and Zarakon Beach.

In historical times, Zarakes was called Zaritra (Greek: Ζάρητρα).
