= School's Concise History =

This school has a glorious history of around 47 years beginning with its first registration as the (primary) school in Mujhai Village of the Khairahini VDC, where it was first established in B.S.2012 through the efforts of Late Educationist Kishor Chandra Dhungana and the villagers of Mujhai Village. After some 5 or 6 months of its establishment, as a result of the combined initiatives of sultana resident Budhai (Boliya) Mahato, Bajralal Chaudhary and other villagers, the primary school was moved to Sultana, 2 miles from Mujhai. As far as we know from school’s record, the first teacher of the school was Mr.Ramnath Pande. In the year of B.S.2013, the school saw its relocation to Khairahini. At that time, the land currently occupied by the school was the place of the Dharma Godam which was in a real bad condition. By the Year of B.S.2014, the building of Dharma Godam and 1 bigaha 15 Kattha of land was transferred to the school through an auction and the school was shifted from Khairahini to where it now remains.

In the year of B.S.2019 through the Shailendra Kumar Aayog, the school received 13 Bigaha of land but the land survey in B.S.2026 verified only 11 Bigaha and 7 Kattha land to be belonging to the school. Through some legal procedures, under the involvement of then famous Rameshwor Pande , Purendra Kumar Mainali, and other aware parents of the region in B.S.2024, the school began conducting high school level education with government approval. The first principal of the school after this transformation was late Mr.Purendra Kumar Mainali. Initially named Shree Khairahani Primary School on B.S.2012, the school was renamed as Mahendra Biddhashram on B.S.2020, and as Prithivi High School on B.S.2024 immediately after which it was once again found to be named as Shree Khairahani High School. In this way, as the school crossed shades of its lifetime, it finally came to be known as Shree Khairahani High School, Khairahani as it has been called till date and as we know it. Standing to its important role in the production of qualified manpower needed to be of complete service to the country, the school has had its share of ups and downs, still not lacking behind in its ob of educational enrichment. On top of that, we need to note how the school serves to the need of people from places up to Padampur, Kumroj, Kathar, Piple, Bhandara, Birendranagar, Chaninpur, Bachyauli and around the eastern chitwan. It is noteworthy how the products of this school have proven their worth in ability and have been serving the nation in many important positions all over the country and abroad.

From a very long time the teachers serving this school and those that had been here before have been known for their immense golden serving, making one of the chief regions of the school being on the peak of success.

Geographical Condition

This School is located in Khairahini of Khairahini VDC, Ward no. 7 of Chitwan district from Narayani zone of Nepal. Situated at around a km south from the East-West Mahendra Highway, the school premises are 18 kms away from District headquarter, Bharatpur. From this institution, one can observe Birendranagar VDC to the east, Ratnanagar Municipality to the west, Chainpur VDC to the North and Kumroj, Kathar and Bachhauli VDCs to the South.

In relation to the registered map, up to Bairahani 1 in the east, Ward 32 of Ratnanagar munciplity in the west, Khairahani Ward 4, Chainpur in the north and Khairahani Ward 9, Buddhyauli and Fasera, is what roughly makes the boundary of the place including all of Khairahini VDC and parts of Ratnanagar where the school exercises its work space.

Scholarships-

1. Lions Club Pagoda City ScholarshipsLions Club Pagoda City, Lalitpur has been annually providing scholarships instructing that they should be given to poor, needy and laborious students. So on the annual day of the school every year, these scholarships are distributed to such students.

2. Rapti Green Society Scholarship

The Rapti Green Society provides with these scholarships with an aim to facilitate the poor, separated, discriminated and needy. The society provides these scholarships under these conditions: 1. It provides all the material needed to study for the chosen poor and needy kids given that they regularly attend the school and have a good record. 2. Primary students of discriminated background with extraordinary marks are provided with prizes and awards to boost their confidence.3. Those discriminated and poor kids that regularly take part in extracurricular activities are provided with encouraging prizes and awards.4. This Society has made provisions for the primary level students of backwards, poor, dominated, discriminated or needy families only.

3. Jasodadevi Niraula Memorial ScholarshipWhen the wife of famous social server Bhawani Shankar Niraula, Mrs. Jasodadevi Niraula, died an tragic death in the month of April in 2006, a scholarship was set in her loving memory which provides the first and second students from classes 5,6,7 and 8 with one set of books and stationary each.

4. Junu memorial Scholarship

Junu pun, a child from the school who was preparing for SLC, was part of an accident in22 March, 2004 and suffered instant death. Her loving parents then set up a scholarship fund in her name with an initial capital of Rs.50,000 and made provisions so that from the interest of this fund annually two girls from the school with extra-ordinary marks receive this scholarship and so the school has been doing as the Junu Smriti Scholarship.

Extra Curricular Activities

SportsSchool is famous for sport not only in chitwan but also in whole Narayani zone. It is one of the best high school in eastern chitwan for the sport. It has sport grounds, equipments and experienced game teacher to lead students to the national level. It has produced large number of national player, who play in national team. Educational Trips

School organize recreation tour every year to enhance student knowledge with socialization process by focusing on special area, culture, place or people so that students and teachers get more opportunity to learn new things. Cultural programs

School organize many cultural activities in school to promote cultural value among new generation with an objective of the personality development by encouraging them to participate. School organize from dance competition to poem competition, cultural show to music show.

SCOUTSchool has one different unit for scout. It encourage student not only participate but also to arrange the camping and fund rising events.

Red CrossIt encourage students to participate actively with red cross to promote awareness about health issue, natural disaster and first aid.It organize blood donation, free eye test and medical check up every year for the poor communities across Khairahani VDC.
