Douglas Mackay

Douglas Mackay

Douglas Mackay was born in Inverness, United Kingdom. His career as a filmmaker began with creating music videos for the Scottish music producer David Simpson. The style of his videos caught the attention of Ian Hallifax, who signed him to produce a range of corporate presentations for companies such as Virgin, Teleware and Alcatel. Douglas Mackay's ability to combine digital design and natural media became apparent in 2002 when he became one of the leading nightclub visual specialists in both Scotland and Europe with his performances at Lock, Stock and Live and The Venue. Working as both a collaberative artist and musician he then found added fame with [http://chameleonjersey.com/ Chameleon Jersey] , a film and soundtrack based band for which he produced a range of album artwork nominated for the Royal Scottish Academies 2008 Exhibition.
