Inicjatywa Wolna Białoruś

Inicjatywa Wolna Białoruś (The Free Belarus Initiative) - a Polish NGO which supports the freedom movements in Belarus, registered as a Non-Governmental Organization on July the 26th 2006 in Poland (KRS 0000260915 [ [http://pdi.cors.gov.pl/KRSSED/Podmiot.aspx?nrkrs=0000260915] ] ).

The activities of the Initiative are threefold:
* direct support for the pro-democratic movements in Belarus
* motivating the Poles as well as other nationals to support the Belarussians who struggle for the respect of democracy and Human Rights,
* delivering up-to-date information about the repressions in Belarus, support campaigns for thedemocratic opposition and about independent press release from the country.

The Initiative, in cooperation with the Polish state television (TVP) and the authorities of the City of Warsaw organizes annual ,,Solidarity with Belarus" concerts [ [http://media2.pl/media/21315-solidarni-z-bialorusia-po-raz-drugi.html media2.pl] ] .

The office of the President of the Board is occupied by Jacek Kastelaniec.
